Huntington Chaper 255 Sr Regent Julia Wines is shown here presenting a check for $1000 to Eric Garber, Administrator of Huntington Lodge 837 for the lodge’s “Furnace Fund”.  The lodge is in need of a new furnace and the WOTM is helping the cause.  The lodge is planning several fundraisers to offset the cost of a new furnace.

One item on the agenda is an auction sale that will be held on May 5.  Concessions will be available from the Chapter.

TORNADO VICTIMS

Marcia Hudson has received dispensation to collect funds for TORNADO VICTIMS IN INDIANA.  There will be a special march of checks next week at MidYear.  The checks should be made out to Disaster Relief earmarked Indiana Tornado Victims.

A list of needs changes almost daily.  There will be an announcement at the Conference of items that can be used.  Due to the short notice, there will also be an announcement of where checks can be mailed if Chapters do not participate in the march of checks but are willing to make a donation.

HUNTINGTON CHAPER 255

On Tuesday, February 28 the Women of the Moose Huntington Chapter 255 donated 19 blankets to Miller’s Merry Manor and Oakbrook Village retirement homes.  The blankets were given, as kits, to the WOTM by Our Sunday Visitor and were assembled by Chrissy Barker and Brianna Reece.

The Chapter also sent 52 of these blankets to Mooseheart.
